If you’re here, that can only mean one thing…
… you picked your new baby’s first name. Congratulations!
Unfortunately, the work isn’t done. You still have a big decision ahead of you — you have to pick the best middle name.
A lot of parents spend all of their (precious) time finding a great first name, realizing too late they haven’t given any thought to the middle name and how the two might go together.
That’s why I’ve been putting together my How To Pick A Middle Name series. So with a quick glance, you can find the perfect middle name for your daughter!
Without any further ado, here are the best middle names for a girl named Ruby.
I’ve compiled these from baby name databases, parent discussion forums, and other sources then whittled them down to the ones I personally think sound the best.
Hope it helps!

Meaning of the name Ruby
According to BabyCenter, Ruby is a name of Latin origin meaning “deep red precious stone.”
It signifies a ruby jewel or the color red. Some favorite nicknames for Ruby are Ru or Bee.
The name Ruby sits at number 95 on the popularity list for girl names for 2021. A Ruby is also the birthstone for the month of July, so it can be a doubly good name if your daughter is born in this month.
Some famous Rubys are actress and activist Ruby Dee (born Ruby Ann Wallace) and actress Ruby Rose Langenheim (who goes by just Ruby Rose).
