My favorite middle names for Alexander are Alexander Lincoln and Alexander Bennett. They sound almost regal or presidential, which is perfect for a traditional boys name.
Both should work with either Alexander or Alex, depending on what your son winds up going by.
Just remember to double check what your child’s initials look like before you choose. You don’t want to accidentally give them an embarrassing moniker!
Meaning of the name Alexander/Alex
According to BabyCenter, Alexander is a name of Greek origin that means, “defender of men” and “warrior.”
This makes perfect sense when you think of all of the emperors and warriors named Alexander throughout the ages.
