New parents tend to agonize over what to name their baby.
And for good reason! Once you pick a name, you and your child are stuck with it forever.
And it turns out that a person’s name can actually influence how others see them.
But you know what often goes overlooked until the last minute? The middle name!
If you’ve locked in on naming your baby girl Aurora, but can’t figure out what her middle name should be, you’re in the right place.
My middle name series takes popular first names and gives you a list of about 50 perfect middle names that sound great with it.
Without any further ado, here are the best middle names for a girl named Aurora.
I’ve compiled these from baby name databases, parent discussion forums, and other sources then whittled them down to the ones I personally think sound the best.
Hope it helps!

My favorite middle names for Aurora are Aurora Jane and Aurora Grace. I just like how these one-syllable names seem to mesh so well with Aurora, and they sound so beautiful together.
Just keep in mind to always pay attention to what potential words your baby’s initials might spell, especially with “A” names. You might unintentionally end up with a monogram that raises a few eyebrows.
There are so many choices, though, so you should pick the ones that sound the best to you!
Meaning of the name Aurora
According to BabyCenter, Aurora is a name of Latin origin, and it means “dawn.”
This makes perfect sense since Aurora is the name of the Roman goddess of the sunrise; her tears become the morning dew.
The name Aurora sits at number 24 on the popularity list for girls’ names for 2020.
The name is a favorite of young girls that are fans of Disney princesses since it is the name of Sleeping Beauty.
Some famous Auroras (aside from the northern lights/Aurora Borealis) are actress Aurora Robinson Perrineau and novelist Aurora Rose Reynolds.
